Compliance Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

◈ Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

◈ Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.

◈ Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company’s operations and update compliance policies and procedures accordingly.

◈ Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters, including ethics, data protection, and anti-money laundering measures.

◈ Investigate and respond to compliance issues, complaints, and breaches, and ensure timely resolution and reporting.

◈ Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

◈ Fluency in English and Spanish – Is a MUST

◈ Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A certification in compliance or a related field is preferred.

◈ Proven experience in compliance management, preferably in a regulated industry.

◈ Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

◈ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

◈ Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.

◈ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
